In a landmark moment for Philippine pop culture (P-pop), P-pop Kings SB19 has been officially announced as part of the Lollapalooza 2026 lineup, becoming the first all-Filipino act ever to perform at the inconic international music festival.
The five-member group––comprising Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin––will take the stage at Chicago’s Grant Park this summer, joining a roster of global superstars. Their inclusion signal major breakthrough for Southeast Asian music on one of the world’s most prestigious festival circuits.
Announced on March 17, 2026, the news sent waves of excitement through their fanbase, A’TIN, and the wider Philippine entertainment industry. This is not just a win for SB19, but for the entire OPM and Pop genre.

Lollapalooza 2026 runs from July 30 to August 2 across four days in Chicago’s downtown Grant Park. The festival features eight stages and attracts over 100,000 attendees daily.
SB19 will perform on Thursday (Day 1) alongside headliners and performers including Lorde, John Summit, Sombr, 5 Seconds of Summer, and many more. The group is expected to highlight tracks from their upcoming “Wakas at Simula” album, showcasing their signature blend of hip-hop, R&B, and contemporary pop.
SB19’s Lollapalooza debut follows a string of international milestones, including recent world tour. Industry analysts note that their participation validates the global reach of P-pop, a genre that has struggled for decades to gain mainstream recognition outside the Philippines.
SB19 has been building this moment since their debut in 2018. Their performance in Chicago isn’t just a gig–it’s a statement that Filipino artists belong on the world’s biggest stages.
